To The Most Selfless Woman I am Infinitely Grateful

Not because it's mother's day on Saturday I'm making this post in honor of my dearest mother. But it's in every day that I express my love to her, it doubled when I my self became a mother my self. It's mother's day every day at home. Why? Because it's the memory that matters most the time we spend with them, the "I love you's" that we say, laughter we make. Because it's not forever, so better show our sincere appreciation, LOVE and spend precious time with them.

And here's a photo overload of her, I now know what I'll look like when I reach her age, of course I'll look like my mother! Most of our relative's said so and that makes me happy. Mom I may not give you a treat on Saturday I'm kind of short financially. But I promise I'll make it up next week and on the coming day's. As for me I'm not expecting anything from my husband because his not the type who surprises his "wife"on special occasion's he even forgot my birthday our wedding anniversary. He even forgets to communicate this past weeks, I have no idea if his still alive or his still in his assignment. Any way that's a different issue I'm having maybe I'll post about my marriage issue's here.

Imagination

Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.

Resurrection and Fun Stuff's When It's Raining

Happy Easter Everyone! As I'm typing right now my son is screaming "Nanay! out.. (He wants me to stop working and just be with him, I love that but... momma needs to upload pictures first) Then spend the day by being on my son's side, since tomorrow I'll be back to work again.

This past day's I know other went on a vacation, I hope they haven't forgotten to spend time with Jesus, speaking of spending time with Jesus, we went to 3 churches to reflect this lenten season. And spent the remaining day's at home playing, watching frozen and cars for a million times.

The first church we visited is the Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral, where the Our Lady of Candle's Shrine is located.

  Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral

That;s my lovely mom with my son, our relatives have been commenting that I look like my mom when she was young, now I know what I will look like when I'm on my 50's

The Second church is The Saint Clements Church in Lapaz Iloilo City, they have a novena every Wednesday to Our Lady of Perceptual Help, I used to attend the novena mass at 4pm, used because that was the time I was a fresh graduate no commitments yet. Now I attend the 7am novena mass at The San Jose Parish Church right across Plaza Libertad.

  Saint Clements Church

The third chruch we visited  The San Jose Parish Church, you may ask why attend a mass at 7am it's too early, you see I work at night week days from 9 pm to 6 am thats why, so when people are awake getting ready to work during the day I on the other hand is just going to end my day.... end meaning sleep around noon because I do have motherly duties.

The Our Lady of Candles Shrine or Nuestra Senora dela Candelaria is said to be miraculous the image is believed to grow you can read the rest of the story here

This guy is my favorite piece of art, love him to infinity and beyond

There are a lot of magnificent and historical churches that you can visit in Iloilo also Spanish Houses, architectures that are preserved so that tourist and the next generation can see.

And for the fun stuff's... who say's that it's no fun when it's raining? My sin got the chance to enjoy the joyful feeling when it rain's. And no he didn't get sick after...

To All Mother's, Soon to be Mother's This Is For You

Truth is a lot of women are not that informed when it comes to breast feeding. Some are misguided or they just go with what the doctors who are not breast feeding advocate/ friendly to use formula milk. Another truth is a lot of hospitals are not breast feeding friendly.

With this mothers formed a group to spread awareness, educate other mothers about the importance of breast feeding on facebook there is Breast Feeding Ilonggas and also La Leche League of the Philippines and Beauty Brains and Breastfeeding All groups are willing to lend a hand when it comes to breast feeding awareness. And Beauty Brains and Breastfeeding founders Ms. Patricia Hizon and Ms. Iza Abeja will launch and share, how they have reached the farthest places in the country to help lactating women in distress especially during Typhoon Yolanda, and their noble mission to spread awareness about the importance of breastfeeding in the country. In the event also were UNICEF Chief Nutrition Specialist Henry Mdebwe who gave a short speech about how this international organization sees the need for social awareness about breastfeeding in the country. In line with BBB’s mission is a fundraising 3km and 5km fun run titled “Nurture Run : Awareness for Breastfeeding During Emergency And In The Workplace “. This will be held in on May 18 Venue Still To Be Announced. We encourage everyone to join this event and help spread awareness on the importance of breastfeeding for every moms who have babies, no matter what their status of living is. As Mommy Bloggers Philippines are composed of moms, we share BBB’s compassion and vision to help specially those who live in the remote areas who aren’t educated how easier, safer and much healthier breastfeeding is than infant formula.

A Coast Guard's Wife's Sentiment's

This is a kind of love story, which progresses everyday, It's not boring or not detailed in some way's. But here it goes, we met last week of February 2010 by text, yes.. we were text mate's our bridge is now my sister in law my former office mate. I've been through a crazy relationship before meeting my husband, stressful relationship but I'm so ever it that my ex is my friend, yes you can be friends with your ex. After a week of exchange text message's we met in person. He just graduated from his training in the Philippine Coast Guard and just got a freedom from being restricted. After meeting in person he never let his eyes off me, I think there's courtship... for a month. After that when we have our conversation he always say he wants a baby because he's already on his early 30's.. well guess what... I've been praying for a baby too only that I need a partner, who I already have.

With hormones and God's grace I got pregnant December 2010. But all through out my pregnancy aside from all the joy I feel, there is stress and my husbands insecurities. His impatient sometimes he doesn't vent out. I just understand him most of the time. Giving him time he opens up that's the technique I learned being with him. Actually we got re assigned on different places while I was pregnant, we were more on text mates and phone pals. I gave birth August 2011 after an excruciating 12+ hours of labor our son came out. My husband was able to see him after 2 days since he was assigned somewhere. Fast forward, he applied for a vacation for a week back then we were not married yet so he doesn't qualify for a paternity leave. Now we are working for the legitimacy of our son since on his birth certificate it's indicated there we're not married. We got married June 2012.

Back to our love story, since my now husband is mostly away temptation eat's him add to it being surrounded by the wrong company  he cheated, being cheated sucks... it hurts A LOT!! That explains why after we wed June 2012 he never sent a single dime financially, actually before we got married I already felt something fishy... imagine that his away for a long time that we didn't have sex for a week since he got home. And who in his right mind brings his cell phone in the bath room?! Only a man with secrets of course. We went through cursing each other, I even planned of filing a complain in The Philippine Coast Guard. But.. after his realization he ended up his affair (yes I knew the other woman, which is actually a student in Palawan and a member of Puerto Princessa City Government Choir, who have been into a relationship with a married man too before she and my husband were together, she's still in college)

You may ask why were still together? Simple we love each other, a cheater will not always be a cheater, people change, people who grow learns from there mistake. We focus on what we have now since it will have a great impact on our future. His still away, but I know he will not do what he did he still needs a lot of understanding, me too. Can't wait for the time his assignment on the ship be over.

Travelling With Toddler (My Version)

My almost 3 year old boy had his first airplane ride when he was 1 year old (luck him) I'm on my mid 20's when I had my plane ride.I have worries maybe he'll have tantrums, throw up or cry. But... none happen instead out of curiousity and maybe excitement he loved travelling by plane,
I made some research on what to give a toddler to lessen headache's or motion sickness, and lollipop is good to avoid pressure in there ear's but I chose giving them baby bottle's or feeding them during take off
this works best for my son. So far he didn't threw up or cried he loved flying, he won't even sit still he always move near the window ( for the view) but as time goes by after minute's of recklessness he feel's
sleepy and will just reach for his momma and sleep.

Here's my style travelling with a toddler.

a.) Before the scheduled flight make sure your baby had a good sleep.

b.) Make sure to bring his favorite toy's, blanket in my case my son's pillow is his favorite.

c.) Bring snack's in case you detect an up coming tantrum's. In my case my son love's scanning that will end up to tearing the magazine or kicking the seat in front of him.

d.) Toddler's can occupy there own sit it's better to let them sit window side let them look out the window.

And most important to avoid motion sickness there are over the counter medicine's you can take an hour before for toddler's there chewable. Or you can give lollipop's let them suck it before take off, don't worry mom sweet's don't make kids hyper there naturally hyper.
Or you can give them there baby bottle (this works for my son all the time) And also be very patient and enjoy your flight.
